SJH Machinery Ltd have a wide selection of Workshop Services available. Our well equipped Workshop is located right on the Main Road A370 just minutes from Weston-Super-Mare North Somerset and Junction 21 of the M5 motorway. We can carry out work anywhere locally, regionally or even nationally.
Our team of knowledgeable, experienced and fully trained staff are on hand to help you with all your service requirements. All our staff are factory trained and regularly attend training courses to ensure they are up to speed with the latest technology.
Customers are welcome to bring their machines to our workshop or alternatively we can arrange collection from your home (a small charge may apply depending upon location -please ring for details) or we have fully equipped service vans who can do almost everything on site.
We are main Dealers for Kubota, Mountfield, Stiga, Viking, Grillo, Orsi, Scag and Karcher and can carry out all routine service work and any repairs required. We can also undertake all warranty work for the above franchises.
Don’t worry if you don’t own one of the above machines though as we will service and repair any make/model
of machine, from the smallest of domestic machines to the biggest of agricultural machines. No job is too big or small. Had an accident? We also do all insurance work and we will deal direct the insurance company and assessors so you don’t have to! So for all your workshop and maintenance needs let us take care of it for you!
Below is a set menu of costs for routine/annual servicing. We take bookings for Winter Servicing so please feel free to book your machine in when you have finished with it at the end of the season or book it in at the start of the season before you want to use it and have it ready for the first cut.

First Year/Interim Service
Work carried out,
Steam clean, Engine oil and filter change (as applicable), check and calibrate engine performance, remove cutting deck, sharpen and balance blade, check all cables and belts and adjust if necessary, lubricate pivot points and fittings, check all safety switches, check pull cord and starting mechanism, check tyre pressures, check brakes.
If any extra work is required customers will be notified and if carried out will be charged at extra cost.
This type of service will fulfill the requirements of the manufacturer where machines that carry an extended warranty past 12 months on the condition that the machine is serviced.

Full Service/Annual Service

Steam clean, replace all filters(Air, Fuel, Engine Oil, Fuel, Transmission), replace spark plug(s), change engine and transmission oil (as applicable), check and calibrate engine performance,check and clean radiator (as applicable) and check coolant level and condition,remove cutting deck and grease, sharpen and balance blade, check all cables and adjust if necessary, check belts and pulley alignment and adjust if necessary,lubricate pivot points and fittings, check all safety switches, check charging and battery condition, check pull cord and starting mechanism, check tyre pressures, check brakes.
If any extra work is required customers will be notified and if carried out will be charged at extra cost.
This type of service is ideal for a machine 2 years or older which is regularly maintained and serviced annually.

Work carried out,
Check and test pressure and make sure machine holds pressure, make sure there are no leaks, check all electrical components, check power cable, check all switches, check lance and hose for any damage or wear, change motor oil, check and clean out fuel filter or replace as necessary, check chemical pick up and function, set up burner and electrodes (as applicable), de-coke (as applicable), check diagnostics for any current or previously recorded faults. This type of service is ideal for users who are using their machine on a regular basis and want to keep it maintained annually.
